NEW DELHI: The tickets purchased by the followers for the now-postponed ICC T20 World Cup will stay legitimate if Australia hosts the version in 2021 as a substitute of India.
In case the occasion is shifted to 2022, all ticket holders can be entitled to full refund, the ICC acknowledged in a FAQ on their web site.
The ICC has not but introduced which nation will host which version as there are operational points which each cricket Boards must type out.
The ICC had already opened ticket reserving by way of their ticketing companions and a major variety of tickets have been already bought.
“Ticket holders are welcome to retain their tickets, noting, if Australia hosts in 2021, tickets will stay legitimate for followers who’ve already purchased and can be mechanically up to date to replicate the brand new dates.
“If Australia hosts in 2022, for tickets already purchased a full refund can be processed mechanically,” ICC acknowledged in a collection of FAQs.
Fans can retain their tickets till a date has been confirmed for the occasion.
Refund requests will be made up till 15 December 2020 and they are going to be processed inside 30 days after on-line submission.
